Parliament considering amendments to Constitution on Ukraine’s path to EU, NATO

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy proposes on February 7 to consider constitutional amendments regarding the Ukraine’s course for membership in the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

This speaker said this during the Conciliation Board:

“I propose to consider one of the key bills, amending the Constitution on the strategic course of the state to acquire full membership in the EU and NATO. I want to emphasize: this will be the final, third vote, which requires 300 votes,”

The speaker appealed to all political factions to mobilize their efforts as much as possible on that day.
