Parliament election campaign in Ukraine to start on May 24

This was reported by the Chairwoman of the Central Election Commission Tetiana Slipachuk, UNN reports.

“The official CEC position is that Ukrainian president’s order regarding the Verkhovna Rada’s dissolution and the early parliamentary elections was published today, on May 23. The election campaign of special elections of people’s deputies starts the day after publishing, i.e., on May 24, 2019, with no need for additional decisions of the Central Elections Commission in order to begin it,” the head of the CEC noted.

Tetiana Slipachuk stressed that the CEC has the trust of society and the international community gained after the Presidential election in Ukraine.

As The Journalist reported, the decree on Parliament dissolution and holding early elections came into force.
