The Verkhovna Rada has adopted a package of draft laws by President on business support during the quarantine period. The state will pay a one-time financial aid to individual entrepreneurs and employees.
Amendings [bill No. 4431] to the 2020 state budget allows to direct funds from the Coronavirus Fund to support entrepreneurs whose business cannot operate or suffers losses under a lockdown. Some 304 MPs voted for the document.
Draft law No. 4429 on social support of insured persons and business entities for the period of quarantine was supported by 297 people’s deputies. It provides for a one-time financial assistance from the state in the amount of UAH 8,000.
The bill No. 4430 on amendments to the Tax Code was backed by 302 People’s Deputy.
