The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Andriy Parubiy, will pay a working visit to Georgia on October 5-7, the press service of the Parliament reports.
The visit program includes Parubiy’s speech at the inaugural session of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly of the Georgian Parliament, the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and the signing ceremony of the Statutes of the Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
After the session, a joint press conference of the Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Irakli Kobakhidze, the Chairman of the Moldovan Parliament Andrian Candu and Parubiy will be held. Parubiy is also planning to meet with the Head of the Georgian Church, Ilia II.
People’s Deputies of Ukraine Anna Gopko, Khvicha Meparishvili, Pavel Unguryan, Ivan Kirilenko, Anna Romanova, Natalya Korolevska, Dmitry Linko will also take part in the events.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine, Georgia will cooperate in fight against thieves in law.
