Speaker of Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy signed the law on the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language. This is reported by MP Andriy Teterev.

On May 14, Verkhovna Rada rejected draft resolutions that blocked the signing of a previously adopted law on the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language.

“In the coming hours or days it will be signed by the President of Ukraine,” said Parubiy.

Before that, Verkhovna Rada unlocked the possibility of signing the law on ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as the state language.

Previously, the “Journalist” reported that in Kyiv, the court refused to consider a lawsuit on language law.
