The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe calls on the Russian government to immediately release all imprisoned Ukrainians in the occupied Crimea, in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and in Russia.

The corresponding resolution was supported by 77 parliamentarians, abstained 15, UNIAN.

The resolution notes that Russia must ensure respect for human rights for detained Ukrainians until their release and, in particular, «observe the prohibition of torture, inhuman treatment or treatment that degrades human dignity, or punish, and ensure the right of access to necessary medical care in order to ensure that health and well-being are adequately protected».
In addition, there is a call «to refrain from forcibly feeding Ukrainian director Oleg Sentsov or other prisoners».
Also, parliamentarians urge Russia to stop harassing and exerting pressure on Crimean Tatars and individuals representing their interests, and in particular lawyers and human rights defenders.

As the «Journalist» reported, the Ukrainian ombudsman under the walls of the colony demands admission to Sentsov, but the Russian ombudsman Denisova is ignored.
