Poland intend to demand USD 900 billion of reparations from Germany. This was stated by the Polish Sejm deputy, member of the parliamentary group involved in the assessment of the compensation, Janusz Szewczak, in an interview with WPolityce, 112. Ukraine reports.

According to him, the Polish government should not retreat in the matter of German reparations. He noted that “such an obvious question as the consequences of the extermination of the Poles and the destruction of the Polish economy by Germany” has been ignored over the past 30 years.

Earlier, the Head of the Committee of the Polish Sejm on reparations Arkadiusz Mulyarchik stated that Poland has the right to demand USD 850 billion WWII reparations from Germany for destroyed property and people, killed during the World War II.

In turn, Germany note that the designated problem was settled back in 1953. Accordingly, Poland’s claims are rejected.
