Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Vladyslav Kryklii said that Poland will grant additional permits to Ukraine to carry out road freight transport operations, RBC-Ukraine reports.
The agreement provides for additional freight transport permits for the current and next year – in general, it is about 15,000 such permissions.
“First, we agreed on a sensitive issue: Poland additionally give 5,000 permits for Ukrainian carriers for the current year. Plus 10,000 next year. And, in fact, I think I can convince Polish side to increase this number of permissions, compared to number we actually have now,” the message says.
Previously, Kryklii declared Ukraine’s readiness to liberalize road transport with Turkey at the beginning of 2020.
As The Journalist reported, Ukraine intends to introduce road fees for foreigners.
