According to a survey conducted by the Rating Sociological Group in Ukraine, the confidence rating among politicians is headed by Volodymyr Zelensky, and “Servant of the People” holds first place among political parties.
A third of respondents rate the first year of Zelensky’s presidency as excellent or good, almost 40% assessed it as satisfactory, about a third – unsatisfactory or terrible. The current head of state is trusted by 57% of citizens, 37% assessed president’s performance negatively.
Over a third of respondents could not assess their level of trust in politicians Dmytro Razumkov and Denys Shmygal. Some 25% trust in Razumkov, while 33% do not trust; only 14% trust the current prime minister Shmygal, and 39% distrust him. Distrust prevails over all other politicians, while Yury Boyko is trusted by 25% of the pollees while 57% distrust him, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk has 24% and 61%, respectively; MP Yulia Tymoshenko 22% and 72%, respectively; MP Petro Poroshenko 20% and 76%, respectively.
At least 39.3% of citizens would vote for Volodymyr Zelensky (among those who will vote and decide on the choice) if the presidential elections in Ukraine were held in mid-May 2020.
The parliamentary rating is led by the Servant of the People party, which will be backed by 35% pollees who will vote and ready to make their choice.
