Numerous abuses have been identified in the work of the 46th United Support Center located in Odessa, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
Integrated Commission, which was sent to check the 46th Joint Support Center (Odessa), found numerous violations and abuses that caused large-scale damage to the state.
«Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak instructed the head of the integrated commission to prepare materials on the results of the inspection as soon as possible and to transfer them to the law enforcement bodies with a view to opening criminal proceedings», the department stressed.
According to the adviser to the Minister of Defense Yuriy Biryukov, a shortage of 200 tons of fuel was identified.
«Ensign (responsible person – Ed.) has not been found either as well as 200 tons of fuel. He is already wanted. The act of checking the commission will be transferred to the military prosecutor’s office», Biryukov said.
Adviser added that the head of the 46th Joint Support Center Evhen Korol is still on a sick leave, which he left with his deputies «against the background of the arrival of the commission from Kyiv».
As «Journalist» reported at the military warehouses in Odessa, tons of defective canned food, and the head immediately became ill with angina.
