The Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak has said that Ukraine must fulfill significant amount of tasks on her way to NATO membership. This was reported by Uryadovy Kuryer.
According to Stepan Poltorak, the reformation of the Ministry of Defense and the military authorities is one of the most difficult task Ukraine to face with.
“The changes are gradually being implemented. Not so long ago, we spoke of the need to directly purchase the weapons and equipment models we need. Now we already have such a tools, and the support is felt this way,” Poltorak noted.
The Minister added that all weapons and equipment purchased for the Armed Forces of Ukraine meets with NATO standards.
