President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dismissed the Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Yuriy Allerov, the press service of the head of state reports.
It is noted that the dismissal stipulated by decree No.196 dated May 7.
By another decree, Poroshenko appointed Mykola Balan as National Guard’s acting commander.
“According to Article 7 of the Law” On the National Guard of Ukraine, the National Guard Commander is appointed and dismissed from office by the President of Ukraine on the proposal of the Minister of Internal Affairs,” the press service added.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko appoints judges of the Supreme Court.
