The incumbent President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will wait for Volodymyr Zelensky to hold a debate at 2:14 p.m. April 14 at the NSC Olimpiyskiy, said the spokesman at Poroshenko’s election HQ, Oleh Medvedev.
According to Medvedev, the head of state will hold the debate with Volodymyr Zelensky on April 14 at 2:14 p.m. at the NSC Olimpiyskiy.
In addition, Poroshenko’s election headquarters noted that, according to the law, debates are mandatory to be hold on Public Television on the last Friday before the elections.
“Therefore, we know for sure that presidential candidate Poroshenko should arrive at Public Television at 8:00 pm on April 19. And he will definitely be there, as the law “On the election of the President of Ukraine” clearly requires participation in such debates in the second round,” Medvedev said.
According to Medvedev, Poroshenko is in favor of holding several rounds of debate.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko and Zelensky filed requests for a debate at the NSC Olimpiyskiy.
