President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukraine will be ready to resist any provocations during the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2019.
Poroshenko said this during a joint meeting with the president of the European Council with Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
«Next year we will have our own elections. But this time we will be ready for any provocations that may occur during the presidential and parliamentary elections», said the head of the Ukrainian state.
According to Poroshenko, any misinformation campaign will meet with a sharp reaction from Ukraine.
As «Journalist» reported «old» Central election commission will organize presidential elections if the parliament does not vote for the renewal of the commission.
