President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has awarded the Ambassadors of Ukraine to the United Nations, Germany, Azerbaijan and the US for their services in the diplomatic sphere.
Presidential decrees on the awarding of ambassadors were read by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Konstantin Yeliseyev, at the 13th Meeting of Heads of Foreign Diplomatic Institutions of Ukraine.
In particular, the representative of Ukraine to the United Nations, Volodymyr Yelchenko, was awarded the Order of Merit first class «for his significant personal contribution to strengthening of Ukraine’s international cooperation, long-term productive diplomatic activity and high professionalism.»
The Ambassador of Ukraine in Germany, Andrшei Melnik, was awarded the Order of Merit third class.
In addition, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Azerbaijan Oleksandr Mishchenko, and Ambassador of Ukraine to USA Valeriy Chaly were awarded.
As The Journalist reported, Klitschko’s Deputy received the title of «Honored Builder of Ukraine» from the President.
