Military personnel and law enforcement officers will greet each other with the words «Glory to Ukraine!» «Glory to the Heroes!» Since the official publication of the law on amending the statutes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). About this today, October 11, said President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko in a speech to the military in Khmelnytsky oblast, reports edition of the Correspondent.

«Discipline does not eliminate the need to respect the professional, respect the patriot, respect the person, and respect the military team. This approach also suggests the direction of renewal of military regulations. We have already taken the first steps a few weeks ago, when the parliament supported the proposals of the president, adopted the law, and I signed it on amending the military regulations on military greeting. «Glory to Ukraine!» today is natural for every Ukrainian soldier and citizen», said the head of state.

The bill to amend the greetings of the Supreme Court of Ukraine and the National Police was approved by the government on October 4 of this year.
In the process of working on the law, it was decided to replace the word comrade with the words «pan» and «pani» in the statutes of the internal service of the Supreme Court of Ukraine, as well as in the statutes of the Supreme Court of Ukraine

Also, the greeting «Glory to Ukraine!» will be fixed for police.

As previously reported by The Journalist, Poroshenko demands to raise the salaries of servicemen by at least 30%.
