President Petro Poroshenko has called on the Government and ministries to help accelerate the development of the Maritime Doctrine on the situation in the Sea of Azov. The Head of State said this on September 6, at the meeting of the National Security and Defense Council.
The President has instructed the Government to accelerate the development of the Maritime Doctrine, which will take into account the situation in the Sea of Azov.
Poroshenko ordered to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice to submit proposals on legal protection of national interests in connection with the actions of the Russian Federation, which blocks shipping in the Sea of Azov; compensation for the corresponding losses incurred by Ukraine and Ukrainian producers.
The Head of State also has announced the creation of the single coordinating center to protect Ukraine’s political, military and economic interests.
«Today, we are taking a position that will allow us to respond effectively and adequately to the situation in the Sea of Azov,» – the President stressed.
As The Journalist reported, Cabinet of Mnisters will submit to NSDC a list of legal entities to which sanctions should be applied over Kerch Strait bridge construction.
