President Petro Poroshenko said that Ukroboronprom enterprises are ready for serial production of those types of ammunition, which were scarce until recently.
The Head of State said this at the opening of the production line of large caliber artillery shells at the Joint-Stock Company Artem.
«I congratulate you on the fact that we have not only conducted tests and demonstrated the high quality of the collective work, but we are ready in the near future to launch serial production of scarce ammunition,» – the president said.
Poroshenko also noted that the first trials were carried out in the first quarter this year, and now we are talking about mass production.
«I want to congratulate the Ukrainian people – the trials were completed successfully,» – the president said.
As The Journalist reported, Ukroboronprom dismissed the director of the SE «Mykolaiv Armored Factory» because of the delay on the payment of salaries.
