President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has created in the Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine the post of Communications Prosecutor for the European Organization for Justice (Eurojust).
Relevant decree No. 128/2018 dated May 17 was made public on the website of the Head of the State.
In particular, the main functions of the Prosecutor on Communications for the European Organization for Justice Affairs is to exchange the information with representatives of Eurojust; development of relevant documents; facilitation of coordination between the law enforcement agencies of the state and the competent authorities of Eurojust member states; interaction with officials and representatives of Eurojust member states. The decree comes into force from the date of its publication.
As «The Journalist» reported, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine calls to reduce the authority of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Police.
