Head of the Servant of the People parliamentary faction David Arahamia in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine has said that the position of deputy prime minister for defense may be established in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
“We would like to strengthen the integration function in the defense sector. There is the defense minister. But there is also the defense complex Ukroboronprom, the private defense sector, etc. We have the National Security and Defense Council, which has to take over this integration function, but it would be good to appoint deputy prime minister for defense at the level of the Cabinet,” Arahamia said.
