President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko said that he had signed a decree dismissing Oleg Gladkovsky from his post as First Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

Poroshenko said this at meeting of Council of regional development of the Mykolaiv area.

"Today in the morning [March 4 – ed.] before the flight to Mykolaiv, I have signed a decree dismissing Oleg Gladkovsky from his post as the First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council," the head of state said.

In addition, according to Poroshenko, Gladkovsky was removed from the post of the Chairman of interdepartmental commission on the policy of the military and technical cooperation and export control.

Recall that on February 25, the project Our Money, leading by Denis Bigus, announced an investigation, claiming that the son of First Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleg Gladkovsky, Igor, was involved in large-scale embezzlement schemes of the budget in the defense complex.

As The Journalist reported, Kholodnitskyi said that all criminal cases against officials on illegal enrichment were closed.
