**The Export-Import Bank of the United States resumes its cooperation with Ukraine after a five-year interruption in work. **
According to the Ukrainian Embassy to the United States, the systematic work of President Petro Poroshenko and the Government of Ukraine on the implementation of reforms and modernization of the country has received another recognition from the American partners.
“The United States has reviewed the risks of doing business in Ukraine, taking into account the provision of macroeconomic stability in our country. This allowed the U.S. EXIM bank to lift restrictions on conducting operations with the public and private sectors of Ukraine under export credit, loan guarantee and export insurance programs,” the statement reads.
It is noted that this decision will increase the volume of Ukrainian-American trade, and is another signal to investors about improving conditions for doing business in Ukraine.
It is also reported that the embassy will continue close cooperation with the U.S. EXIM bank in order to implement ambitious Ukrainian-American projects.
Note that the United States Export-Import Bank (EXIM) is the official US export credit agency with a mission to support American jobs by facilitating the export of goods and services.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko signed a law on three-year budget planning.
