Due to bad weather conditions throughout the territory of Ukraine, about 117 settlements are left without power. This was reported by the press office of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
«On July 25 as a result of bad weather conditions (hailstorm, thunderstorm, wind gusts) as a result of the activating of protection system of the transmission lines, 117 settlements in seven oblasts were left without power supply. In particular, 30 settlements in Zaporizhia oblast, 24 settlements in Dnipro, 20 in Zhytomyr, 14 in Kyiv, 13 in Donetsk, 12 in Luhansk, and 4 in Kirovograd region. The teams of the regional power distribution company are working to restore the power supply,» – the message says.
As The Journalist reported, due to bad weather in five oblasts of Ukraine, at least 66 localities are de-energized.
