6.5 magnitude earthquake occurred nearby  Kiska island, US Geological Survey reported.

On April 2, an earthquake of 6.5 magnitude occurred near Kiska Island in the Aleutian Islands region of the American state of Alaska.

The epicenter was located 31 km north-east of the island and at 19.1 km depth.

There is no information about the victims and destruction caused by earthquake.

As The Journalist reported, an earthquake occurred in the US state of Alaska.
