Austria allocated EUR 1 mln for demining operations in Donbas

The Austrian Cabinet of Ministers will provide Ukraine with financial assistance for the implementation of projects in her east regions, including mine clearance operations. This was reported by Die Presse.
It is reported that at the initiative of the Federal Chancellor of Austria, Sebastian Kurz, the Council of Ministers have decided to allocate EUR 1 million aid for Eastern Ukraine.
It is noted that the funds will be sent to the Red Cross Organization for the demining project, as well as to the other Austrian non-governmental organizations providing support to the people, affected by the war in Donbas.
