Italian government lowers retirement age for certain categories of citizens

Under new rules, the Italian citizens will be able to retire before they aged 66, ANSA reported.

The report notes that the citizens of Italy will not be able to retire at 66-67 years old as now, but when the amount of age and length of service in total will reach 100: the age will be at least 62 years, and the length of service will be at least 38 years.
According to Italian Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte, more than a million Italians demand to lower retirement age by 3 years at least.
