President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has announced the implementation of land reform this year, which will create a land market in 2020.
Zelensky said this during the Ukrainian-Turkish business forum.
“This year, we will definitely roll out land reform, which will help create a market of 40 million hectares of land next year, which is one of the best in the world in terms of quality,” the President of Ukraine said.
Zelensky noted that Turkish companies that own land already operate in Ukraine, UNIAN reports.
“I hope there will be significantly more such companies, especially in southern Ukraine, which needs the creation and development of irrigation systems. We are also considering opportunities for public-private partnerships there,” Zelensky emphasized.
