President Office outlines condition for introduction of state of emergency in Ukraine

The President’s Office discussed the possibility of introduction of a state of emergency in Ukraine amid coronavirus. This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Kyryll Tymoshenko in an interview with Ukrainian Truth.

At the same time, President Office stated that the state of emergency can help to coop with the situation, to ensure that people stayed at home.

According to polls, 49% of respondents support the introduction of a state of emergency, 43% – oppose it, and 8% abstained.

Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that at the moment there is no need to introduce a state of emergency in Ukraine in connection with the coronavirus.

As The Journalist reported, Avakov announced possible date when situation will normalize in Ukraine.
