Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is positive that today’s credit rating is humiliating for a European country, so, he promises to change it in the upcoming years.

Zelensky said this during the forum “Dialogue Between State Authorities and Business” forum, the presidential press service reports.

“We are working on improving the credit rating of Ukraine. Now we have “B-” rating [low investment rate – ed.], the same as such “leading” countries like Mali, El Salvador. This is, as they say “no comments”, it is humiliating for a European country,” said Zelensky, promising it is going to be changed in a few years.

The president also supports large-scale privatization in the country.

“Ukraine, as a state, needs to get rid of non-core assets. Therefore, I support large-scale privatization. The state is a service that creates the conditions for your work, and not your competitor,” the head of state said.

As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko called his party “political special forces”.
