Ukraine estimates losses from Russia’s Kerch bridge at a half a billion hryvnia each year

Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine estimates losses of the State after the construction of the Kerch Bridge, which limits the passage of vessels via the Kerch Strait, to 500 million UAH per year.

This was reported by the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Volodymyr Omelyan after government meetings.

«We estimate direct losses approximately in a half a billion hryvnia each year due to the reduced tonnage of vessels, going to Ukrainian ports (Mariupol and Berdyansk) in the Azov Sea. The indirect losses are billions», – the minister said.

As «The Journalist» reported, France condemns the construction of the Kerch bridge, but at its opening were French deputies.
