Shevchenkovskyi district court in Kyiv sentenced the head of the group of «titushky» Yuri Krysin for involvement in the murder of journalist of «Vesti» newspaper Vyacheslav Veremii in February 2014. Yuri Krysin was sentenced to four years’ imprisonment on probation [reports](http://112.ua/obshchestvo/prichastnomu-k-ubiystvu-zhurnalista-vestey-veremiya-dali- 4-goda-uslovno-426076.html) «112.Ukraine».

It was established that Krysin collected a group of «titushky» to fight activists of Euromaidan for a reward of $ 20 thousand. It is noted that a group of his subordinates stopped using a grenade car with Veremii inside and beat him. One of the «titushky» shot a journalist and as a result he died later in the hospital. During the trial, Krysin pleaded guilty for hooliganism and bodily harm, and stated that the murder of Veremii was unintentional.
The court took into account the extenuating circumstances – the young children of Krysin and his remorse and sentenced him to 4 years in jail. The court also obliged Krysin to pay costs for court expenses in the amount of 12 284 UAH.
It is noted that the case of the murder of Veremii was considered in court for about three years.
