Prime Minister Mark Rutte said he is grateful for the support and unity shown by EU after the MH17 disaster. This is reported by NOS.nl.

«My thoughts about the European Union changed when we saw what international solidarity is and what political pressure it can carry out. We decided to demand report made by Russia on her role in MH17 drama», – said Rutte.

Rutte quoted Winston Churchill, who once said, «Politics is the ability to foretell what is going to happen tomorrow, next week and next year. And to have the ability afterwards to explain why it didn’t happen».
In addition, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands said that he wants to hear the recognition made by Moscow on her responsibility for the downing of flight MH17 in 2014, but notes that Moscow continues to denial evidence on the case.
As «The Journalist» reported earlier, the British Parliament adopted a plan to leave the European Union.
