The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko dismissed Yuriy Tkachenko as the Chairman of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration and appointed Oleksandr Velbivets to this position.
The Ukrainian head of state announced this decision during his meeting with leaders of Cherkasy Oblast.
The Head of State also handed a certificate of the Head of the Regional State Administration to Velbivets, Ukrinform reported.
As The Journalist reported, the Cabinet of Ministers fired the first deputy minister of education and science.
