The current US president, Donald Trump, has declared California a major disaster because of wildfires. This was reported by the owner of the White House on Twitter.
«Wanted to respond quickly in order to alleviate some of the incredible suffering going on,» the President wrote.
The American leader also stressed that he approved the calamity request for California.
