A Turkish-Saudi working group will be set up to investigate the case of a missing Saudi journalist. The situation that has developed around the case of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Arabia’s King Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud discussed by telephone. «The Heads of State stressed the importance of creating a joint Turkish-Saudi working group to investigate the case of Jamal Khashoggi», the report says.

Recall that Jamal Hashoggi was forced to move to the United States of America because of his professional activities – the journalist wrote for The Washington Post and criticized the Saudi government. On October 2, Khasoggi entered the consulate of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul and disappeared.
