President of Turkey signed a law increasing tariffs on some US goods

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan signed a document, which provides new tariffs on a number of American goods. This is reported by Korrespondent news agency.
It is reported that the relevant document is published on the official website of the Resmi Gazete.
According to the prescribed regulations, tariffs are increased on American products (rice by 50%, fruits by 20%), cosmetics by 60%, tobacco products by 60%, alcohol by 140%, cars by 120%.
It is noted that tariffs are also raised for a number of other American goods.
As The Journalist reported earlier, if Turkey starts to «drown» in default, it will drag Russia along with it.
