All those implicated in the shooting down of the Malaysian Boeing 777 flight MH17 in the sky over the Donetsk oblast on July 17th, 2014, the representatives of the Russian Federation should be punished for the terrorist act, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
«On fourth anniversary of the tragedy MH17 we bow our heads in sorrow and pray with the families of the tragically dead. A joint investigation team from representatives of Australia, Belgium, Malaysia, the Netherlands and Ukraine found that the plane was shot down by the Russian air defense missile system Buk, which belonged to Russian troops and was delivered from the Russian Federation. It is Russia that should be held responsible for this terrorist attack», Poroshenko stressed.
«Ukraine will continue to provide all necessary assistance for carrying out a professional investigation and punishing the perpetrators of the tragedy. This is confirmed by the recent ratification by the Ukrainian parliament of an agreement between Ukraine and the Netherlands on international legal cooperation with regard to crimes involving the shooting down of an MN17 flight. It regulates the cooperation of the competent authorities of both states and the prosecution and conviction of the perpetrators within the judicial system of the Netherlands», the head of state wrote.
As «Journalist» reported G7 countries called on Russia to cooperate with Australia and the Netherlands on the plane crash of MH17.
