Prince Harry forbids his wife Meghan Markle to wear a tuxedo, reports Daily Mail with reference to the sources.
According to the interviewee, the Duchess of Sussex met with several designers and stylists in order to choose the outfits for the upcoming royal tour in Australia.
Prince Harry, who was present at the fitting, categorically disapproved of one of the proposed options – a trouser suit with a bow tie from fashion designer Stella McCartney.
«Meghan is told that she needs to stop dressing like a Hollywood star and start dressing as a member of the royal family. Meghan wanted to choose a tuxedo, but Harry said that this suit is not traditional enough», said a source present at one of the meetings.
As the magazine notes, trouser suits with a butterfly were repeatedly worn on solemn occasions by Princess Diana, Prince Harry’s mother.
