Ukrainians become more active in using smartphones to pay bills and conduct other financial transactions over the past year.
According to the PrivatBank, about 8.9 million transactions were made via mobile version of Privat24 in March 2018, and 15.8 million transactions were made through the mobile bank by the end of March 2019.
Today, each months’ transactions through mobile Privat24 are carried out twice as many than via the bank’s cash offices – 15.8 million against 7.7 million transactions.
At the same time, mobile Privat24 is still inferior in popularity to the self-service terminals of PrivatBank: Ukrainians conduct more than 29 million financial transactions per month using ‘em.
