The Prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea verifies the involvement of every Crimean civil servant in committing treason, which consists in active actions to conduct subversive activities.
The head of the Prosecutor’s office of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Svetlana Bludova, said this, Krym.Realii reported.
According to Bludova, every civil servant or anyone in the territory of the annexed Crimea will not be prosecuted in accordance with the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
«We verify the involvement of each person in the commission of high treason, which should consist in active actions: assistance in subversive activities,» – Bludova said.
She added that the fact of working in the government-controlled agencies of Crimea in Russia is not a crime itself.
«An ordinary civil servant, who works for the Ministry of Emergency Situations and helps the people, will not be held to criminal liability,» – Svetlana Bludova stated.
