The next round of Ukraine-EU-Russia tripartite technical consultations on transportation of Russian gas through Ukrainian gas pipelines will be held on September 26, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.
As you know, on September 12-13, Brussels hosted the first round of the Ukraine-EU-Russia tripartite technical consultations on transportation the Russian Federation gas via Ukraine’s gas pipelines.
The meeting was held in accordance to the agreements reached during the tripartite consultations on July 17, 2018 in Berlin.
During the technical consultations, experts from Ukraine, the European Commission and the Russian Federation discussed the key elements of gas transportation contracts applied in EU member states, approaches to tariff formation, and issues of reforming the management of the Ukrainian GTS in accordance with the legislation Ukraine’s international obligations under the Association Agreement.
It is noted that it was agreed to hold the next round of consultations on September 26, 2018.
As The Journalist reported, Naftogaz said that Russia will delay trilateral negotiations until the decision on the appeal to Stockholm Arbitration.
