About 300 protesters against creation of a land market gathered outside the building of the Verkhovna Rada, TSN reported.

Protesters mainly hold “Batkivshyna”, “Svoboda” and “National Corps” party flags in their hands.

Security around the parliament has been strengthened, involving police and National Guard officers. The situation is quite calm, no riots so far.

Recall, on Tuesday, December 17, people protested against the opening of the land market and against fines for owners of the cars with European registration. Clashes occurred between representatives of the National Corps and the police. The protesters wanted to install the tent directly on the roadway of Hrushevskogo Street. After the police did not let them do this, protesters rushed at them with sticks and started spraying tear gas.

On the fact of the clashes, law enforcement authorities began criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code (threat or violence against a law enforcement officer).

As a result of clashes were injured 17 police officers. Some 26 protesters were detained.

As The Journalist reported, Zelensky proposes to concentrate no more than 10,000 hectares of land in hands of one operator.
