US Special Counsel Robert Mueller believes that a woman was offered money to fabricate sexual-harassment claims against him. This is reported by CNBC news agency.

«When last week we heard about suspicions that women were offered money to give false testimony against a Special Counsel, we immediately referred the matter to the FBI for investigation,» said Muller’s spokesman Peter Carr.
It is reported that they received information about the criminal conspiracy from journalists. In particular, it is noted that the American activist Jack Burkman has offered the woman USD 25,000 «to make accusations of sexual misconduct and workplace harassment against Robert Mueller.»
