Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko has said that Ukraine is working on a new version of the Minsk Agreements, despite the fact that the Russian side publicly opposes any changes. He said this in a comment to the Voice of America.
To Prystaiko, the war is still ongoing, which means that it is necessary to amend the Minsk agreements, which have exhausted themselves.
“We still have not achieved peace. Therefore, we believe that it is necessary to amend this document, since some of its points are impossible to implement,” Prystaiko explained.
He also added that the Ukrainian side is working on a new version of the Minsk Agreements, as “the Minsk agreements have exhausted themselves and require changes.”
