Russian President Volodymyr Putin said that he had agreed with US President Donald Trump to work out at an expert level the issue of settling the «crisis in Ukraine».
«We spoke about Ukraine, there are some new ideas on how to resolve the crisis in the south-east of the country. We agreed to work it out at an expert level», Putin said.
The Russian head of state said that this could be an element of progress.
At the same time, after talks with Trump in Helsinki, Putin announced an «intra-Ukrainian» crisis and suggested that the US «tune» Ukraine to the implementation of the Minsk agreements.
«When discussing the internal crisis, we drew attention to the importance of conscientious implementation of the Minsk agreements. The US could more firmly insist on this and set up the Ukrainian leadership for this work», Putin said at a press conference broadcast by the television channel «Current time» .
As «Journalist» reported Putin assured Trump that he would keep the transit of gas through Ukraine, but there is one condition.
