The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov has said there will be no cardinal reshuffles in the Cabinet of Ministers in the near future, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
“I don’t think we will see governmental reshuffle any time soon. Colleagues have criticized some ministers. I can agree on some proposals, but with other ones, I can’t. However, I guess this is a conversation for another time. I would like to remind you that the government must submit to the Verkhovna Rada a 2021 draft budget by September 15, not to mention another challenges Ukraine faced with, like increase of coronavirus incidence rate, a Donbas war and a socio-economic problems. I think it’s not worth talking about the global reshuffle in the Cabinet of Ministers in the near future,” Razumkov said.
When asked whether there could be staff changes in the economic department of the Cabinet of Ministers, Razumkov replied that theoretically, this is possible and one of the people’s deputies can initiate such a proposal, letting to the audience to determine whether to support or to reject this proposal.
