Dmytro Razumkov, the Head of Servant of the People party, has said that the issues of de-communization in Ukraine should be decided in local referendums. He made the corresponding statement on the ICTV channel.
To Razumkov, the local people should make decisions on decommunization.
“We have witnessed the renaming of cities, villages. This is possible. The problem is that this decision should be made by locals, who live there,” Razumkov said.
At the same time, Razumkov clarified that it would be nice if the issue of renaming localities will be put on local referendums.
As The Journalist reported, Servant of the People party has no decision to revise Language Law yet.
