The occupiers deployed territorial defense HQ to identify and detain individuals who may impede the holding of the so-called «elections» in Donbas.

This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Colonel Maksym Prauta, citing the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense.

«Due to the growing of discontent among the population of the temporarily occupied territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts, the Russian occupational administrations has developed tough mechanisms to respond to possible protests that may arise on the eve or during the so-called elections on November 11,» Prauta said.

It is clarified that «at the expense of budget organizations and institutions were formed special agitation groups with the main task (apart from conducting pro-Russian propaganda and convincing the population to vote for the so-called right candidates) is gathering information on opinion leaders and activists among the local population.»

«If these persons will be identified as opposite to the occupying power or have been incited the population to the protests, representatives of agitation groups are obliged to inform the territorial defense headquarters immediately,» summed up the Defense Ministry’s press service.
