Russian occupation authorities force militants and civilians to vote prior to scheduled so-called «elections of the leaders of the DNR and LNR», said Colonel Dmytro Hutsuliak, the speaker of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, referring to the Intelligence Directorate General.

«The Russian occupation authorities in Donbas taking all possible measures in order to prevent failure of the so-called «elections» scheduled on November 11, this year due to the threat of low voter turnout, including military personnel of formations and units of the 1st and 2nd army corps (armed forces of the Russian Federation), where more than 40% of staff are trying to avoid voting. In connection with this situation, occupation authorities have started the early voting process for the personnel in the majority of Russian occupation forces divisions,» the spokesman said.

It is noted that commanders of units at the front line, along with representatives of mobile polling stations, are required to ensure 100% participation in the voting of the personnel and civilians, located in the surrounding areas and are included in the voter lists.

At the same time, the Russian occupation authorities threatens to toughen punishment for avoiding participation in voting. The most severe punishments threaten to pensioners and public sector employees.

As The Journalist reported, Ukraine Intel reports Russian military will be included to voter lists for «election» in Donbas.
