Human rights activists and families of Ukrainian political prisoners hold a protest action at the building of the Verkhovna Rada. They came to express their dissatisfaction with the bill which is put to vote. On their opinion, the bill imitates assistance to Ukrainian political prisoners and their families, Crimean Human Rights Group reports on Facebook.

In particular, relatives of the Kremlin’s hostages and human rights activists are protesting against draft law No.8337 on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the Fight Against Terrorism” (regarding the foundations of the social protection of hostages).”

“They are convinced that this bill only imitates the protection of the Kremlin’s hostages, but in fact does not protect either political prisoners, military or civilian hostages, or their families,” the message says.
